Return & Refund Requirements

Anything Wrong?

  • PLEASE inspect your merchandise immediately upon receipt.
  • If you believe you have received something defective, please get in touch with us within four days of the order receipt at hello@rubyidol.com so we can address the issue. Some of our items may be shipped from brands such as Zenana, Mustard Seed, KanCan, etc., and they have a strict window we have to follow regarding damaged garments. 
  • Items must be new, with tags, etc, as specified below.
  • In order to be eligible for a refund, you must send the product you wish to return within 14 days of the order being delivered to you.
  • If the item(s) have tags removed, or an item has been worn or washed and smells of smoke or perfume, it becomes ineligible for a return/refund or store credit. We can not resell these items.
  • Items returned to us outside of our return period listed above will be marked "Return to sender" and will be mailed back to you. 
  • We do not offer exchanges.  If you need to size down/or up, please place your order to ensure we have the item in stock.  Once we receive your return, a refund or store credit will be given- depending on the return window.  

The Item:

  • All tags must still be attached. Some brands are no longer using garment tags. 
  • Ensure no make-up, deodorant stains, animal hair, or cigarette smoke odor.
  • Item can’t be worn, altered, or washed.
  • Items must be placed neatly in the original clear bag they arrived in. Please fold the item, do not ball it up, etc, and shove it in the bag. Returns that fail to meet this criteria are subject to a 20% restocking fee.  If you lose the bag, a charge of $1.00 will be deducted from the refund for repackaging. 
  • Shoes must be returned in the original shoebox and include all of the original packing material.
  • Shoe boxes must be returned inside another box or a protective mailer. [Ie. You cannot tape the shoe box shut and stick a label on it]

Items NOT Eligible for Return:

  • Any time a coupon code of 15% off or greater was used on your order.
  • Any item in the sale/clearance/final sale sections.
  • Any item marked down or discounted more than 25% off the original price (includes BOGO items)
  • Shoes without the original box or packaging 
  • Swimwear  
  • Jewelry 

  • Refund:  Your item must be postmarked* within 14 days from the date you received the item to receive a refund. Once we process your return, please allow 3-5 business days for your bank to process the refund. If your item is defective or damaged, please get in touch with us ASAP so that we can replace the item. 

  • Our suppliers adhere strictly to this timeline for notification and returns. They will not process the return on our behalf. For example, we carry a lot of Zenana products. However, some are shipped directly from them because we have a good working relationship established. 

    *Postmarked means it has been accepted and scanned in at the post office. Simply creating a label does not count. 

  • How to return items: Ship it yourself using the carrier of your choice. Shipping the item bag in the packaging you received it in is recommended. If it was sent in a polybag, you can turn it inside. It is often cost-effective to use USPS.  Return address:  Ruby Idol 658 Main Street Chipley, FL 32428.  ** GET a tracking number to track your package. We are not responsible for packages lost in transit. Make sure to include the packing slip or your name and order number. 

  • Order Cancellation or Change:

    • Orders cannot be modified or canceled once they are placed.

Did not receive your package: 

  • In case a package is delivered - according to the tracking number update, but you state that you did not receive the item, you must submit a claim to the shipping carrier directly. We are not responsible for packages that have been lost, stolen, or marked as delivered or picked up.
